The Process

Microblading is a semipermanent technique for enhancing the appearance of the eyebrows, in which pigment is scratched into the skin in fine, short strokes resembling hair, using a hand tool with a blade formed of tiny needles.

STEP 1: Consultation

In order to provide the best experience possible, a thorough consultation is very important before the procedure. During the consultation, the client will be asked to provide any images of brows they like, examples of what they do not like, as well as explaining and demonstrating how they fill in their own eyebrows on a daily basis.

STEP 2: WE DRAW YOUR BEST BROWS

Once we determine your best brows, we'll sketch your new eyebrows directly on your face. During this step, we'll ask you to smile, laugh, and make different facial expressions. Our goal is to create beautiful brows that match the symmetry of your face. We'll help you find the perfect color and shape just for your face.

STEP 3: Color

Once the client has approved of the shape and design, the artist will swatch colors on her forehead that match the natural color of the client’s eyebrows. Together they choose the color that is the best fit according to the client’s unique features.

Step 4: WE NUMB YOUR BROWS

A lot of clients ask us, "Does it hurt?" The answer is: nope! Most clients do not complain about any pain, and some even fall asleep during the process! Before microblading, we apply a topical anesthetic and wait 20 minutes to ensure you feel as little discomfort as possible. You can sit back, relax, and dream of having eyebrows in the shower... because it's all happening!

Step 5: Microblading

This is where the magic happens! After we’ve secured the design, color and the numbing cream is in full effect, the artist will open a sterile needle in front of the client and begin to implant the pigment into the skin with tiny strokes to resemble the natural brow hair. Numbing cream is applied throughout the procedure to ensure a painless experience.

Step 6: Reveal

Once the procedure is over, we reveal the final result. The client is shown their new set of brows and are asked if they’re happy with the results in case any adjustments need to be made. Our goal is for every client to walk out excited and in love with their new brows.

Step 7: Touch ups

It’s important to note that microblading is a multisession process — touch ups are necessary. The first touch up should be done within 4-6 weeks of the initial procedure. During the touch up session, the client and artist will go over any and all concerns regarding the healing process, areas that need to be filled in and other adjustments that the client would like to make.
